Just when you thought you'd seen all the dynamite we could fit in one small package, VMP is unleashing even more power with the new VMP GEN2R!
Building on the record setting VMP GEN2 TVS for 2007-14 Shelby GT500 and 2011-17 Mustang GT we went further. Through VMP's involvement with record setting TVS powered cars such as Matt Brunette's 2008 Shelby GT500 to Rebecca Starkey's 2011 GT, VMP is driven to push our superchargers to the moon, and back.
Our drive to go faster, run quicker, and make more horsepower has led to the development of the VMP GEN2R model.
VMP's integrated inlet design has been the secret to moving massive amounts of air through a dependable 2.3 liter Eaton TVS rotorpack. To improve on this already great design, we made the inlet plenum behind the rotorpack even BIGGER, we expanded the mouth of the inlet to accept even larger throttle bodies but kept a standard bolt pattern! The new VMP GEN2R has maximized every square inch of air space within the inlet plenum.
VMP GEN2R TVS includes your choice of pulley; it comes complete with all hardware, instructions, tech support, and one year warranty. Head unit upgrades from $2,699.
Roush supercharged F-150s can use this blower as well, but there is potential extensive clearanceing and modifications needed. F-150s using the Gen2R in place of the Roush supercharger will likely not be able to reuse the Roush intake system without modification. A new replacement intake is the best option.
